Welcome back, Ken! I'm so glad to see that you've remained as ignorant as ever. Do some research and you'll see that the vast majority of water serving the central valley and southern California does not come from underground aquifers but rather from the Colorado River. So, once again, your point is fundamentally flawed and based on faulty logic.

You are (I can't believe I'm saying this) right about one thing....water is an increasingly scarce resource.....here's an idea....instead of selling water to central valley farmer for pennies per acre foot just to see them grow low value crops like alfalfa, why not market price the water, have farmers pay something like the dollars per acre foot paid by resident of San Diego and other municipalities. Doing so would reduce waste, focus attention on higher value and higher yielding crops, probably raise the price of food a little bit but raise the price of vegetable a lot less than the price of red meat and other processed animal proteins which you abhor.

Of course, this is a capitalistic, market based solution to the problem, so you're probably against it, you turd licking dumbass.

I fell victim to their practices in 2003. I hadsome family drama going on which forced me to drop out of school. I was forced to take two non transferable classes. I am now attemtping to finish up my degree and have to get a transcript from UOP so they can finish my financial aid paperwork. I was told to talk to collections department and they are saying I cannot get my transcript until I pay $1500! What are my recourses? Can I join the lawsuit? I just want my transcript so I can attend a worthwhile school. Please let me know what I can do... macias.Ellie@gmail.come

Every time I get a chance I make comments about how debt makes people into "Debt Slaves". The other day I saw an analysis of how slavery has declined int he last 100 years. But the analysis did not take into account debt slaves and if it did, would not have shown a decline.

Nowhere does it say the President's job is to keep americans safe from terrorists. His oath is to protect, preserve, and defend The CONSTITUTION, which keeps americans safe from abuses by the government.. Obama, like Bush before him, has repeatedly violated that oath. The next president (probably Jeb Bush) will also violate it. If the people don't rise up and take back their country, it's going to make old East Germany look like a bastion of liberty.

I don't know why they chose not to hear to his announcement that Iraq was the wrong war, but not Afghanistan. Early in 2007 Larry Pinkney of BlackCommentator, one of the few Blacks who did not grovel at the feet of the Obama-Messiah , made these all too true statements about Obama:

This is a man who has enjoyed the fruits of America at the
blood and expense of Black Americans and others, but who has
paid virtually no dues.

This is a man whose father had also enjoyed the fruits of
university schooling in America but subsequently returned to
his native Kenya.

This is a man, who also like his father before him, neither
served in a branch of the US military nor in any organization

industrial complex US Presidential candidate, has called
for “unilateral” US military actions in other nations.
[And why not? After-all, his father, himself, or his wife

huge supporter of the apartheid Zionists and their powerful

Afro-American Unity (OAAU), the Student National Coordinating
Committee (SNCC), the Black Panther Party (BPP), Students For
A Democratic Society (SDS), the American Indian Movement
(AIM), the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM), etc.

This is a man who is silent about the need for reparations for
Black American descendants of slaves and the genocide of the
indigenous so-called “Indian” peoples on this continent. He is
the consummate opportunist who, in reality, cares nothing
about the horrors inflicted upon Black, Brown, and Red peoples
in this nation, and has repeatedly signaled that he plans to
inflict even more “unilateral” military horrors upon various
nations and peoples of the world.

This man, Barack Obama, is but a more articulate, younger, and
shinier version of the current and infamous US Supreme Court
Justice Clarence Thomas, adorning himself dangerously and
abundantly in superficiality and double-speak.

Morals under capitalism are for losers, that is for sure. But morals such as:
Apprecation in diversity

Solidarity
Equity
Participation in power
Environmental justice
These morals are not for losers. They are for winners and if we do not begin to develop them, then the insidious individualism, the racism, the inequality, the concentrated power and environmental destruction will be our legacy.
It is time to speak of morals in the struggle for economic, social and individual freedom. To cede the moral ground to capitalism is to cede the stuggle.
